The Children's Museum with Julianne and Seito

Another one of the painted cows around Denver. Ride em' cowboy!
Here are our mini veterinarians. They were so cute running around saving the animals. Seito came up with the funniest stories and ailments. Nothing is better than a kid having fun with a wild imagination.
The puppet show
Each kid had their own story going on and it usually involved a princess since girls were involved. It was so funny!
Here are our wild animals. They were running around wild and climbing up everything. They loved being dressed up.

At the grocery store. It was mad chaos in there! The kids were all having a ball playing the different parts. Here is Seito checking out and Julianne being the checker. I majority of the time I was running around stocking the shelves and cleaning up since I cannot stand a mess. One day I am sure I will relax.
Playing with trains
One of the coolest parts was the chance to build something with wood, containers, lids, etc. They got to use real tools which at times was nerve wracking, but so fun. Julianne made a crown.
Seito just enjoyed sawing and being dressed up.
Here are our firemen already to put out the next fire. They had so fun being dressed up and playing on the fire truck.

Kari and Trevor's Wedding

The wedding/sealing was so beautiful! The sealer shared such wonderful things about the temple and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love the picture above because it shows the happiness of Kari.

The best friends!!! I love these girls and it is so nice to be together to share in the excitement of Kari and Trevor's marriage.
Here we are at the reception site, Mount Vernon Country Club. The views were so beautiful!
Isn't this cake so amazing? I don't know if I have ever seen a prettier cake. It was such a wonderful reception, with good food and company. I just love being there to celebrate such a special time. Kari and Trevor are an amazing couple and I wish them the very best in their new life together. They will do great things together. Kari has been such a dear friend to me and I am so grateful for her friendship. We have been through a lot together including challenges in both of our lives and exciting things like running a marathon. She is one of those people I know will be a friend of mine forever. I am so grateful that the Lord has blessed me with her friendship.
Congratulations Kari and Trevor!!!

More Photos From Easter Week

Denver has painted cows all over and we found one of them on our walked down 16th street mall. Parker was not too excited about the ride.
Julianne showing off the eggs she found. I love the excitement in her face. I just love this girl!

Parker enjoying the ENTIRE chocolate bunny that his father gave to him.
I love this picture because it shows the fun that Parker and his father have playing with each other.

Easter Week

This week we had my brother Daniel and his family in town. On Monday we went downtown Denver. We rode the light rail which was so fun for Parker. He kept saying train, train and loved seeing the cars, trucks, and buses pass. When we were downtown we went to my favorite crepe place and had delicious dessert crepes.

On Thursday we went to the Cirque Dream Illuminations at the DCPA. I was blown away by the different acts. They did tightrope tricks with the rope moving and did flips on it also. The strength of the circus performer was incredible. It is totally worth going too.
On Saturday we went skiing at Loveland. It was hardly spring skiing actually it was a blizzard. On one trip up the lift is stopped for about 30 minutes and we were being swung back and forth by strong wind with snow pummeling our faces. I was holding on for dear life and almost jumped because I wanted to be off the lift. My brother and sister-in-law stopped me though. I think I might be a fair weather skier.

On Sunday we watched General Conference which was wonderful. I love the chance to hear from the church leaders and learn how to improve my life. Then we had our Easter dinner and did the Easter egg hunt. The kids just loved finding egg. Jeff and his family came over for that part. I was playing ping pong with Seito and when I leaned over to pick-up a ball and I said I was getting old and then about 5 minutes later he looked at me and said "Are you really getting old, how old are you?" When I said 32 he got this look of bewilderment on his face. I love that kid. We dyed egg and when Julianne was putting stickers on one of them the egg broke open and it was not a boiled egg. It was so funny. We then had to go through all the eggs to find out which ones were hard boiled. Julianne got quite upset when most of the pink ones were raw. It was a really nice holiday with family. I just love being with family!
